We're well on our way!!!

I'm thrilled to report that the back of the house looks VERY different these days!  The brick was removed from the back walls (which will be taken in as interior space) before the projected start date, and the Bobcat (a skid-steer construction vehicle) was busy at work when we headed to school bright and early on Feb. 4th!

We got some rain, which is great -- but not for grading or digging.  After a few days, the crew was able to get back to work in prepping for new piers and beams where the old patio once was, and to prep for concrete pours where the new garage and patio will be.

It's really starting to take shape!  I'm very excited to see the concrete in... it'll give us a great feel for the space (our enormous garage, and a nice patio on the back of the house, as well as the new yard space).

We're teed up for the first inspection (of concrete) next week... More soon!
